King's ransom

I can't imagine how large 600,000,000 yen, which was stolen from a company in Japan. Is a person able to use that huge amount of money in their lives? I don't know how they use that money, but it seems to be difficult to use whole of it. If I could get that much money, I would like to use for others. It might be something in welfare, such as for children to be happy. I hope they will return the money by remembering people who is suffering from losing that money.

apartment

It's good to walk to the work place rather than using a crowded tram or bus. It is a stressful thing before the true work. I hope I walk to the work place every morning, so I want to live where I can walk there. I lived an apartment within 5 minutes to walk to a college. It was really convenient because I could spend enough time in the morning in the apartment and never worried about the time of last tram. I will find an apartment close to the work place again.

Practice makes perfect

There is a good proverb, "Practice makes perfect." I think that is true and it is only difficult to keep doing it. I think I tend to go easy way and don't practice hard. I don't see the future risk or dream I want to achieve. It is the practice every day which makes the life happier, closer to what I dreaming of. I should think of time value. The time passes so quick to become old. If I don't notice how precious the time is, I can't achieve anything I want to. I will try to practice every day.

Go for a walk

"When you go for a walk, what do you see?" This is a line of a poem I read before. I see trees, flowers, sky, people, and the like. I often ride a bike, so the speed is rather high than walking. I see what I am interested in. It's similar to the life. I will walk slowly to find out something beautiful and interesting I have never found before.

confidence

I read that if you want to get a job you really want to do, you should have a confidence and behave so, even if you have never done it before. I think the reason is that if you have a confidence in yourself, you also take responsibility for that. You try to take responsibility because you get money from the job. I will try to show confidence in me at any job interview.

Anniversary present

I sometimes give my parents a present for their wedding anniversary. Once I gave them an overnight trip because the hotel was famous for unique room and I could afford it since I had a job then. They said they enjoyed it very much. I should arrange it very soon because it will be early in April. I should make a table reservation because I am planning to give them a lunch. It is also a unique restaurant. I feel glad to give my parents something on their happy day.

For our future

It is raining now. Since we had a nuclear plant accident, I am afraid of being wet by rain. Not only people living close to a nuclear plant, but also people far from there, we are all worried about radial affect in Japan.

The fact is the plant had an accident. We believed that the plant would be safe forever. I think we should change our energy source from nuclear to natural energy such as sun light, wind, tide, and the like. We also change our lifestyle from too much depending on electricity. I hope we can live without fear of nuclear and green house gas effect.

We should learn from the disaster and never repeat same mistake. Although we had such a hard experience, we can notice sustainable lifestyle for our future.

Fragile

Since we have had a disaster, I feel the life is fragile. We can't fight with nature. We have to accept our destiny. I think just living every day is very lucky thing. Thinking of people whom I love makes me relieve. I want to make my life happy for my life. I appreciate the life I received.

On my side

"Be yourself" and "Be natural". I think all these things mean "love yourself". I can love how I speak, my voice, my ideas, how I feel, and the like. I think those two words imply "have a confidence in yourself". I don't care others negative words. I will be always on my side.

Passion

I am reading "Pour your heart into it" and I feel I want to drink a coffee. I don't drink it very much though. What makes him move is passion. Can I have such passion to anything? He has just pure passion from his heart. He was impressed by great coffee. What makes someone move is what makes someone impressed. I have been impressed by several teachers since I was a little girl. My passion is still alive and I want to do something I can do to younger people. I can find anyway to pursue it. It's not only through a job. I can do something in my daily life or some volunteer work. So I don't have to give up doing something for younger people. There are many ways I can achieve my desire. Mr. Schultz gave me a power and courage for my dreams. I appreciate it.

Lilies of Field

I saw a movie "Lilies of Field" the other day. It was an old movie and very Christian. I can't believe that there is a man who has such a volunteer spirit. The situation was not normal. The man just got water for his car from sisters. He was on his way to somewhere he had to go. A sister believed that God made him to help them. A person who has a belief makes herself such a strong. The spirit makes oneself go straight to one's goal. This movie tells me that if I have belief in myself, I can achieve my dream. I can feel that I can do anything unless I give up. God helps one with strong will sending someone who helps. I want to be strong by trusting myself. Amen.

visual cues

"Visual cues are key for trust"
I think it means what we see is everything. They may include atmosphere, clothes, facial expression, tone of voice, and the like. Seeing people is the great opportunity to know others. Since I don't work now, I am looking forward to work outside and see others very soon. We can only know ourselves through others reaction. I am happy if I could know myself more than now. I will try to output myself.

Supervisor

I saw my alma mater on the Internet. I wanted to see my supervisor. I sometimes feel I want to see him again. I think he has influenced me a lot and I want to study again someday. The first thing I should do now is to find the work. I want to start working very soon. Maybe I should not choose only what I really want to do. It is difficult to get a job among limited range. I will meet him after I get a job.

Word power

I am glad that I received a post card from a woman of my previous work place. I could know how she looked me. She is very kind to tell me that I am sincere and hard working, and I need some more positive action. She says that she hopes that I can meet a good work place which understands me. What she wrote makes me warm and grateful to her.
I am impressed by power of words.

Smile in the picture

I saw a picture of person who is working for my former work place on the newspaper. He was smiling in the picture. There are 6 pictures in that article and he is only one who had smile on his face. I felt something happy because I knew what kind of person he was. He was very kind and I was very thankful to him about what he said to me. He said that my parents were good. I was very surprised and glad because it was the first time I heard from others that my parents were good. I remembered that I said about the person working in the same place was nice when he asked about him. I think he felt something what I said. I like him very much even now and I think the reason he smiled in the picture is that he thinks about what his expression gives people who receive it. We will receive something warm and happiness from a smiling face. Perhaps he knows that and smiled.

I think I want to smile in every picture taken in the future. Sometimes it may require a courage, but I will try. I will smile in every picture from now on. Because there are surely someone who sees the picture.

job application

I applied a company for teaching job. It looks like interesting because it is a teacher who teaches English to the kids. I think I can enjoy that work because I like singing and dancing. I will have a test for checking my teaching and English skills. I thank them because they will decide whether they hire me or not. If they hired me, they decided that I could work for that job. I will just depend on their choice.

Balance

"We only live once", which I heard on the radio the other day. I think it means a lot. Since we have feelings, I want to be happy. To become happy myself, I want to make others around me happy. Especially family members. I think we have to live independently as we are individuals. I have to live my own life, not depend on my parents or others. It is a balance what I have to think about it. I don't have to depend on my parents too much, and I also don't have to be careless about my parents. I should keep the best balance between my parents and I because I only live once. I should keep trying my dreams.

Follow the truth

I think it is easy to follow what happens in our lives. On the other hand, when I tried to resist it, I should have hard time. I think it is I who have a right to choose which. I have a soul and a heart and I will follow both of them. Once I chose one decision, I will go forward with my soul and heart. It's better to follow the truth of my heart than easier way. I am grateful to be free from anything but my heart. I will live for myself. I hope it makes me strengthen and confidence in myself.

Job

I am thinking of a work I would do soon or it would take a long. I have some reasons to work sooner. I should move to close to my parents and I have to rent a room for that reason. I don't know what kind of job I should choose now. I am going to consult an organization because I think they will help me to come to a better decision than I would do myself.

Looking for

I was still looking for a place where I would live next. I should move near my parents by December. I should find a job first as it is difficult to pass a review for an apartment. I feel I should wait for a little because I will be busy in September. It looks hard to find a room where I can satisfy since I have many check points. The most important is smoke-free.
